This is a human story of Duxbury Reef.  It is by no means meant to tell the whole tale.  It is tied to the times in which it has been compiled and those that have shared its story.  Hopefully this story will continue to grow and develop... into the past and into the future.

The book and video contain images to excite and inspire those interested in Duxbury Reef and the people, organizations, and ecosystems associated with it. 

The reef and its connection to community-based education and observation are the vertebrae in this story's backbone.  There is much to be gained from reflecting on our relation to the land and the sea.
