Members of 7Forward and researchers from the College of Marin have re-established Intertidal surveys originally conducted by the late Dr. Gordon Chan, of the College of Marin's, Bolinas Marine Station. These surveys are being used to assess many aspects of and relationships to the Duxbury Reef Intertidal system. Areas of focus include: Human impact studies, Pole-ward species shift (as a possible indicator of global climactic change), and general reef health monitoring.
